Paul is a private client solicitor, specialising in Wills, inheritance tax planning, setting up and advising on trusts, administering estates and trusts, creating powers of attorney, acting as an attorney, applying for appointment of deputies, and charity law.
Recently his work has involved representing a client to obtain NHS continuing health care to pay their care home fees in full which were in the region of £800 per week. He also recently administered a complicated estate and multiple settlements linked to it all with substantial inheritance tax payable.
Paul has acted for clients to set up vulnerable persons trust for children and helped create lifetime trusts and Will trusts to help clients pass assets to next family generations.
He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
In his spare time, Paul enjoys playing football and has previously been captain of a team in the Perry Street league, which covers Devon Somerset and Dorset. He also likes playing golf, walking the coast path, and spending time with his family.
